What is an Air Gage?
Dimensional air gauges are measuring instruments with the ability to sense a surface through the use of an air nozzle. Air gauges are able to pass air to different sensing nozzles and measure the air flow calibrated to a display. Air gaging was the first kind of submicronic measurement developed; the technology dates back to the 1940s and is still considered a highly precise way to measure internal and external diameters, among other features.
