What is a Roundness System?
A roundness system is based off a precision rotary table, electronic amplifier, and computer with software to generate geometric data. These systems (based on their sophistication) can check Parallelism- Perpendicularity – Concentricity- Circular flatness, and yes, Roundness.
Combined with a precision Height stand these systems can generate Cylindricity reports and straightness.
