What is a Vision Gage?
Vision gages/systems come in a variety of types and styles. They can be simple shadow type gages to actual measurement systems measuring dimensions. They can be used for inspection purposes only, looking for a defect or checking for a feature. They can be measuring type systems which can be used to measure features like a CMM for GD&T and standard dimensions (hole size, lengths, distances etc.…).
